Poor again other than odd flash. But we knew we. Weren't getting the finished product. He'd shown flashes of form for Benfica. It's not like an Eden Hazard who came to Chelsea after an incredible season in France. In that situation you're expecting a bit of class straight off.
This lad needs much more time. But he does need to show more bravery on and off the ball and much more tenacity.
Was thinking the same, he looks so out that it can't be his natural default position. A bit like Lambert who looked completely lost but is actually turning out useful.
Think he's been told to keep it simple, do the basics well and then build from there. I don't think he lacks ability, it's a mental thing with him. He's not the first winger to come from abroad and take time to adapt to English football, and he won't be the last. I think we're doing the right thing easing him in. Still got high hopes for him.
I think he's going to start terrorising defenders soon, starting Saturday.
I really believe that, seemed to play well last night and he will get better.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I've seen no evidence of that whatsoever to be honest. He was just as meek as ever last night. I think it will be next year before we see the best of him, if ever.
