Interested to see what Klopp can do with him.

Not even a single goal in the Turkish league though?
We can't pin that on Rodgers.

He's going to be coming in to a particularly crowded position in the team, particularly if the Götze rumours are true. He'll have to preform really well to feature, good luck to him. A good squaddie potentially.
          Modifying post.

I want to believe he's brilliant, but I just can't get past his kick it and run after it really fast thing.

We need wingers (I know I sound like a broken record), and Klopp has said it twice in the last few weeks about how lacking we are in this area.

Markovic could well be polished into a very good player for us. He showed at right wing back that he can do the defensive work, and glimpses further forward.

If he doesn't cut it, then fine, but he's still only 22, and came from Benfica, where he was still raw, and made a big money move to us. He was seen as one of Europe's young starlets, so Klopp will have heard and known about him.

All he showed was 90% of the time pulling back in a tackle, even when he had the ball, and most of the time pausing for a bit before deciding to canter back after he'd lost the ball. He's not what we need. You think he would of done what Flannagan did to Sterling for example? We need a team like that. No fear.

All that one can ask is that Klopp gives him the chance to impress or disappoint.

The way he runs with the ball seems odd to me. It's as if the ball is slightly too far ahead and he stretches his foot out in front to nudge it, relying on the timing of those nudges to keep the ball away from defenders. It doesn't seem like a style that would be particularly suited to the more physical and frenetic Premier League.
                    Never knowingly optimistic

                      That will do for me

Bit of a leap but I'm not going to criticize your new found positivity.
