I may be alone in thinking this but i get a feeling of expectation whenever he gets the ball. He's generally played the simple pass or looked to slide people in so far in his brief appearances for us, but i can see he has it in him to just glide past players. I think Brendan is right to ease him in, but really hoping he explodes onto the scene by doing something special

Serbia tried to involve Tadic and Tosic more and he had very limited number of touches, not enough to influence the game.

That is how he plays pretty much for Serbia and how he played at Benfica.

He is looking to pass first and score and create for himself second.

Personally I hope to see him little more aggressive in terms of taking more shots and trying to score and will need to improve his positioning and play without the ball.

No you're not alone. Everytime I see him, his non-chalance, his self-belief, all remind me of a certain Suarez and his first simple back heeled pass.

Its like Markovich could rip apart any player in front of him but he's thinking 'nahh, not yet. Let Raheem have his day'. I reckon Brendan will order him to: 'UNMARKABLE UNLEASH!!' during the latter CL group games.
