Surely we can give him game time in the Europa, the League cup and maybe the FA cup apart from the fact he would offer more than Ibe IMO.

I think the writing was on the wall for Markovic and a loan this season, but what annoys me is that we should have looked at EPL club or a good Championship side to take him for the season.

Going to the Turkish League will not give him the confidence of playing in the EPL for us, but that is only my opinion, and I could well be wrong.

Like some one posted earlier I can see him going else where next season, either on loan or being sold, especially if he doesn't kick on there.

But it's still friggin annoying paying the size of fee we did just to loan him out after 1 season in a new country and league.. It's just crazy.

60m spent on pure white last season. Lallana, Balotelli and Markovic. Rodgers is very lucky to still be in a job.

Look the club took a gamble and bought a player they hoped would be the next big thing. He clearly wasn't cut out for it from day one. Rodgers has realised this and thankfully is being allowed to move on the players he doesn't fancy. So we will lose money, BT and sky contracts will easily cover last years outlays. Let's just enjoy the season ahead.
