harsh on Enrique, he didn't put a foot wrong and is actually a very fast sprinter.

Lucas looks like a real worry defensively....several times were he just shoves the opposition player and then gets done for pace.

I actually think Enrique is a good squad player, just grouped them together as the game seemed to die off at the point of them all being on.

Yeah Lucas is a fouling machine! If he leaves I wonder if we'd need to bring someone else in? I thought we were a man short in CM last season and with the extra games we'd be struggling IMO.

Thought lovren looked very good, solid in the tackle/air, comfortable with ball at his feet

The new right back looked decent, certainly has pace

Losing Suarez we have obviously lost some of our attacking threat, but I think we have so much pace now that it will make less difference than people feared. I know this was only a friendly, but with Lovren at the back there is a much better balance to the team and where Suarez was the focus of the side last year now other players have a greater opportunity to take responsibility and show what they can do. I am really excited about this season (watch us lose to Southampton now ).

I do think we need another top striker or somebody that can play across the front 3, but i'm really excited.

It's just a shame that I think all our rivals, particularly Utd and Spurs, will do much better this season, so I think it'll be the hardest premier leage season ever.

Just watched it again on the offal and it was a yard I'd say. On that basis I'm revising my opinion - we're flattering to deceive, have under-invested where we needed to and have invested unwisely where we didn't. It's going to be a **** season all round
