He has been on merit though Dan, he has been consistently good. If we signed him in the summer we'd be lauding him as our future LB for years to come. The problem is he has previous form a la Lovren and Mignolet ad no matter how good he does we are waiting for that monumental **** up......

Personally I think we keep playing him as this season he has been excellent.

Usually agree with ya mate but can't on Moreno. I just can't abide by the chap. Thought he is has done much better than previous and fair play. Credit that he isn't causing goals in most games but damage is done. A shocker mistake is imminent

Honestly though I will be very surprised if he is our LB next season.

I think he's great, really likeable lad and I'm really pleased he's finding his feet.

I find myself agreeing with you more & more lately Kenny. It’s a strange feeling this.

was he great going forward, or also great in defence...

i listened to some match commentary on the radio while i was driving and they often mentioned how piss poor our defending was, and how ****e lovren was too. but they also highlighted that moreno was often bombing away up the pitch perhaps too prematurely. we would easily lose possession in the middle of the pitch, or perhaps a long ball to kane, and moreno was nowhere to be seen so lovren was left flapping like a fish out of water with no fullback to assist.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

If I remember correctly none of our defensive mistakes were directly down to him.

He might have been a little out of position at times, but it was mainly basic errors from our CBs and midfielders not tracking runners from what I saw.

There's definitely something in that, but he's clearly an attack minded fullback so the team should compensate accordingly. It's an argument for a holding midfielder, but one of the midfield 3 should cover when he's upfield

his upturn in form is baffling, he was almost out the door in preseason, couple of good friendlies and is now holding his own as first choice.

a lot of faith shown by klopp this season, thought he should have got more a game last season, we were crying out for pace on the left
