He’s not good enough for us as a first choice left back. Never has been and won’t improve enough to bridge that gap. His contract expires at the end of the season. We move on. Let’s see who Klopp chooses to replace him with in our squad. Whoever he is I suspect he won’t have us ****ting our pants every time he has to do some defending. In the meantime we make do with him in the squad as he’s (sometimes) the least worst option for that position. No point making things harder for him or ourselves by going over his inadequacy over and over again.

Re Markovic, I think I made it pretty clear that my agenda was somewhat tongue in cheek and was at least self aware

e.g "It's too early to write Markovic off, but he's crap and will never make a name for himself with us." And, "I'm glad Markovic is on. Someone else to pick fault with". Or "At least I waited until half time in his first game before judging Markovic". Then "You should join me in using Markovic as the focus of ire and derision. The lack of evidence makes it more of a challenge and it annoys people more. Ideal."

I was only really in it for excitement of going all in on a 50/50 punt and refused to get cold feet. I did give him a little credit too when he managed to run around a bit near the ball. Genuine animosity towards one of players is something that I don't fully grasp.

Your right, negative criticism on a forum isn't likely to affect the player.

However, some posters feel the need to repeat their views over and over which gets boring. In conjunction, these views can be pretty entrenched thus making any meaningful debate difficult.

My comments are there for all to see and let us not confuse genuine animosity with just thinking a player is ****, not good enough for the club & wanted him gone. I don't think I have ever wished death on his family ffs, I have been accused of a few things on forums but never " genuine animosity".

For the record, I had zero issue with any of your Markovic comments, you called him crap and a massive fanny... and I agree you, called a spade a spade I don't see the big deal in it at all, I don't have an issue with 99% of what anyone says it's all good. You didn't like him from the start and called it, same as me with Moreno. You like Mig too, me not so much. I thought Skrtel was ok, you didn't. Honestly though, who gives a **** really just opinions, some people just get so sensitive about them. I understand dom being a crusader and starting a fire nothing new there but didn't think you were that would be arsed.

Before yesterdays game, I had 4 comments this season in the Moreno thread & someone else ask a question was it Moreno's fault for goal in match thread and it all kicked off tables flying etc etc. Relentless! Just don't play him and the thread we will have tumbleweeds
