Legend is stretching it a considerable amount regarding McAteer. Nice lad and all but thats it.

McAteer's sister owns, or at least owned a pub. That makes him alright in my book

I listen to their pod and he's a good egg, think even he'd be embarrassed at the legend tag. We'll be having "legends" nights with Bjorn Tore Kvarme and Torben Piechnik next

Bjornabye(sp) should have legend status if only for the cross in the second 4-3 v Newcastle!

He could whip a good ball occasionally, Stig.

He had a strange career with us as I recall he had one really good season as a left wing back about 96-97 but for the rest of his career for us he could barely get into the team.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah we played some pretty good stuff back then, entertaining but we were horrific at the back. Something Stig didn't help with sadly. Really should have won some leagues under Roy.
