It looks from those pictures asthough the press were right - Mario has damaged morale already by being moody and difficult.

Awful pictures. No one seems to be taking it seriously. Extremely worrying.

And I have always thought that if Coutinho is not at the top of his game, he can be a bit of a luxury player, especially away from home.
I agree, I was really looking forward to seeing Coutinho hit the ground running this season but on the evidence of the first 2 games and his usual lower level of performance in away games I'd definitely bench him in this one.

Perhaps Coutinho is feeling down about having serious competition for his place. He is still only young, could have discouraged the lad.

he's 22 i wouldn't class him as young,Sterling and Ibe yes,Coutinho is a Luxury Player and an Impact player, and moreover Inconsistent.

                    You're 48. 22 is definitely young.
                    Oh I don't know.

Tough game this, home team playing well under Pochittino so far.

I would go for 3-5-2 to nullify their midfield.

Lovern/Sakho/Skrtel as our back 3 will provide safety when our wing backs push up.
Hope Moreno is fit so he can start on the left and I would play Flano if fit on the right if he ain't then I Sterling will be doing a good job there. As he did a few times last season.

Gerrard, Allen, Henderson will make up the 5 mids with Balo & Sturridge leading the line.

Don't want to see us playing with only 1 man upfront as we did vs Citeh. At times we had no more than 1 player in their box.

We'll beat these by the odd goal I reckon. They have to concede at some point.

Must win but Mario is going to run the show here.

Just having Mario on the pitch will make a massive difference, we're missing presence at the moment and Sturridge, Sterling, and Coutinho are suffering because of it.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Who Spurs just signed today ?

They are in for Song too apparently.

Are Johnson and Moreno injured for this one? I'd have Manquillo in for Johnson regardless and with Flanagan still injured this leaves us with Enrique at fullback. Lovren needs to step up after the city game and remain solid in the middle.

If we start 2 up top with Balotelli which I would as we don't look a threat with one up top, Sturridge looks a bit isolated then we should adopt the diamond formation. Markovic on the left and Sterling at the top of the triangle and with those attacking players at our disposal then spurs won't be able to live with us
