Yes, we're a bit unfortunate there that we are forced to field an entirely new backline away at Spurs and three games in. We need a settled backline this season. Chopping and changing never helped last year.

Yeah I agree mate. I think he'll get isolated if we play with those two wider - plus he has the propensity to drift out wide anyway so we will have no one in the box. Mario looks a good fit, especially with his strength and skill away from home and I'd definitely start him.
That said, Markovic and Moreno seemed to have an understanding from the minutes they played together against City. A Spurs season ticket holder I know is not confident at all and reckons that we will expose their high line and win comfortably. I'm not so sure, but maybe this is Rodgers' thinking, with such an extremely pacey attack.

Which is why I hope we stick with this one going forward.
Can't wait for this. I predicted a loss but now not so sure with the pace up front. Rodgers nearly always gets a good response from the lads after losing the match before.
