Do you not remember it no? Gary Neville commented on it and said he should have scythed him down and taken a booking for the team. If he had, we probably would have won the league. I'm not putting all blame on him as there were other **** ups along the way but he was guilty of one of the worst ones.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I remember it yeah but it wouldn't have won us the league. If we had won that game we would have finished level on points with City and lost it on GD. We can point to many instances but for me the one where we lost the league will always be the linesman's **** up in the away game at City rather than anything our players did.

All teams dropped points and made mistakes they shouldn't have, the officials costing you points probably happens to all teams too but we were hard done by a few times last season and it's particularly galling cos we came so close. That offside wasn't even close

Hate the way people always talk about Palace as costing us the league.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Same with Gerrard's slip, again on it's own if it didn't happen still wouldn't have mattered if we had drawn the game. The City game on it's own could have changed the title's destination but it wasn't meant to be.
