A great game of football. Would be nice for Balotelli to have at least put one away for some breathing space, but this game has been 100mph. I feel like I need a rest and I'm on my sofa. Some of our play in the final third is tremendous. Errors galore at the back, but it's a new back four and I think this is the one that needs to be given time to iron out those erroe.

Overall we look very good today.......some concerns at CB in that half, but looking good for the win here.

Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson, FBs all excellent. Mario doing ok as he's getting the positions, but it hadn't happened yet for him.

Decent first half. We've had a couple of good chances, scored one...couple fell to Balotelli but he is still regaining full match sharpness. Still making brain fart defensive mistakes which scare me, especially being only one goal up. Need to get the 2nd goal fairly early or maybe we'll start getting a bit nervy!
