When Balotelli takes up a central position we're seeing what we miss from Sturridge when he drifts wide, his delivery is ridiculous and his ball retention in tight areas 2nd to none in the league.

Fullbacks look very promising. Henderson and Allen working tirelessly. Front three - frightening. Mig done well.

Agreed on the concerns regarding centre backs and Gerrard. Sakho and Lovren look like a pair that have never played together (they will get better - given time). Gerrard - some of his passing is superb but on the whole - not at his best.

However, we look the better side.

I think he's absolutely superb. Just need the other centre halves to get used to his game. He's as good if not the best centre back in this league.
