On the centre backs not sure sakho and lovren will be a good partnership. Again our best two CB's play the left side.

Great win. Some excellent performances all round, and even Gerrard, Sakho and Lovren who had disquieting first halves, had solid second half performances.
Sterling, Moreno, Manq and Henderson were excellent. Didn't happen for Mario or Sturridge, but never stopped trying.
Some things to be worked on, and probably got fortunate with a couple of CB issues in the first half, but we responded well and shored up what we had to as the game progressed.

CB issues aside that was great. sakho will get pelters but Lovren worked me more. Some stupid decisions and goes to ground too early sometimes. Hopefully the improve as a pair and get the time to do so. Great win. moreno is a player. Impressed by Manquillo again too.Comment

We certainly suit the diamond formation, looked very comfortable today and it was good to see 3 goals without either of the frontmen getting on the scoresheet.Comment
