Thanjk you.
Paul.S
He contributes next to nothing going forward and I dont think hes that great at pressing / defensive side either
Can to me looks much stronger, much more capable going forward and offers better balance
Just my preference
Fair enough, personally I think Allen is our best presser, he times when to close down almost perfectly IMO.
His role isn't about getting goals, Rodgers has given that responsibility to Henderson openly in the media what Allen does is hassle, keep the ball with simple passes and always be available to receive the ball.
If Lallana comes in he won't be doing that role, he has never played that deep as far as I'm aware and that would mean Henderson dropping back. I think both are good options but today our midfield was balanced which can be invaluable in itself.
Couple of points................I can now see why we chased Seville so long to get Moreno. He's a tremendous acquisition, will only get better and will nail that left wingback position for years to come!
Second one, Sterling, as good as he is, just uses his left peg for standing on - after that great run in the second half it was criminal that he didn't finish it with his left foot instead of fighting to get it onto his right then cocking it up because of bad body shape.

Beautiful to watch us thump Spurs once again. Great display overall from all involved. We looked sharp and the midfield was much more disciplined position wise, and great at pressing when needed.
Good to see Allen pulling a player back when Spurs' attack looked dangerous. Last season we were too nice.
I'd like to see Lovren and Sakho given a run together. It looked like it was. A new partnership with Sakho a bit rusty. But you do get the feeling that this back four could be a proper unit over time.
Moreno though
/\
This.
Far too nice, we learned the hard way.
I don't agree with hauling players down and being cynical but we get ****ed over by teams doing it to us all the time.
Another thing I noticed was Mig was time wasting and slowing the pace of the game right down straight from the off, never seen him do that before.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
It wasn't convincing but still, they have an uncanny knack of turning up when he's not around.
Whatever the reasons theres certainly been an astonishing difference in our defence under Rodgers when he's played compared with when he hasn't. With him our defensive record is dreadful, without him it's brilliant and while it's not as simple as being all down to him I do think we would be much better off without him.
61 league games started, 84 conceded, 17 clean sheets. 1.37 goals conceded per game.
18 league games not started, 13 conceded, 10 clean sheets. 0.72 goals conceded per game.
It's time for a run without him and see how we get on.
Aye. The numbers aren't favourable for him. The manager seemingly hasn't noticed yet though. Hopefully the two today strike up a quick understanding and are given the time to carry it on.
