New Vice Captain ?

Who do you think deserves the honour of being our next Vice Captain with the departure of the Great Dane Daniel Agger?

Is there any other choice other than the previously much maligned Jordan Henderson? Is it a foregone conclusion or is there something that I'm not seeing elsewhere?

I can't see past Henderson so can't really throw any other names in the mix. It's such a squad revolution that names and positions you would naturally look to for a captain are new to the Liverpool set-up.

Yep, Henderson for me. Failing that Id give it a couple of months and then look at Lovren/Sakho.

Henderson would be a great choice, and will learn well from Gerrard. Going by seniority it would be Skrtel, but not sure he is the right material and perhaps won't feature in enough games.

Sakho would be another good choice considering he already have a lot of experience in the captain role, but not sure how he is fitted in the hierachy.

Although the way Rodgers has spoken about Lovren being a leader, it wouldn't surprise me to see him get it, despite being a n00b.

Yeah normally there'd be a few names to throw into the ring but we do look a bit light on at present with leaders don't we.

Not so long back we'd have said Lucas or Pepe apart from Agger but now it's looking like Hendo by the length of the main straight

If you watch when we score a goal & everyone's celebrating it appears that Hendo is the one encouraging & doing most of the talking. Good signs I'd say.

Henderson, same as I said it should have been last summer... Though I got pelters for it then. It seems most have come around to logic since then though.

Not really arsed but would be nice for Hendo to get it. He's one of the best CM's in the league, has a mental work rate and is showing other leadership qualities so give it to him.
