Hate Gerrard and Lucas together though one of the few times it looked good was at West Ham last season when Lucas come on so hopefully it's similar today. Would be very harsh on Sakho too who's looked our best CB for me so far this season but rightly or wrongly I get the feeling Godgers just doesn't rate him. For all the criticism I think Lovren and Sakho and the defence did pretty good, conceded 2 in 3 games, Ludogorets had 2 great chances, Tottenham 2, Villa 2 from what I can remember, thats pretty good going considering how open we play.

Lucas actually looked sharp when he came on for Ludo. But yeah scary to see them together again. And we've gone from SAS to a two bit BOB up front. Regression FTW.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fat Sam packs the midfield and tries to overrun us there, we'll need to be strong in that area for this game.

I'd like BR to persevere with our current back 4 and give it a chance but I have a nagging feeling he's going to put Skrtel back in at the first opportunity.
