Once Markovic feels comfortable and his confidence grows, I think we'll see him run more with the ball, but at the moment he's tidy. Lallana has been tremendous between the lines and it says it all when our 'go-to-guy' is a 19 year old Sterling.

I really feel for Lambert. He is so desperate to do well, he's putting himself under tremendous pressure and he's forcing it and his touch is heavy. Toure goes from the sublime to the ridiculous and Enrique looks semi-decent.

Markovic needs to run at people and take risks. Lallana is giving it his all - whilst noticeably lacking in confidence, and you can see the magic in flashes, but Markovic hasn't really shown any glimpses yet. Let's hope he has a bit more of a go in the second half.
Lambert needs his old mate Lallana right next to him to do the scampering. He's not really built for playing the lone striker.

Lallana has been the best player so far, he looks like he might be decent - but we are playing a Championship team, even if they are in form.

Lambert is dreadful. Far too slow to be an asset for Liverpool. Mid table player at the very most. He looks like the beard and the shirt are weighing him down. I don't understand the point in him.

Markovic looks like he's nervous as ****, he doesn't seem to take any chances. Its all popping off the easy pass or lay off like he's scared to lose the ball.

As much as I love the bombing runs of our new fullbacks - perhaps the solidity and experience of Enrique and Johnson would be better for our centre halfs?

Difference was Crouch had a career ahead of him. Lambert's legs look like they have had 2 behind him.
