everton's out ball when theyre under pressure is a punt to their right to lukaku. so far its worked every time. i would like to us us close off that channel by asking gerrard to push towards the left of centre to stop them releasing that pressure so easily.

one kick out from them and any momentum we have has gone. we cant put them under any sustained pressure.

Yeah, you can see the new lads gradually getting more comfortable with where they're meant to be on the pitch and what they're meant to do. You can see this bedding in with a few more games. When it works it seems to work very well apart from the final ball/forward run.

Everton haven't been great. I mean, any team can hit us on the break but they've not offered much at all.
