When we get into good attacking positions, there's still a bit of confusion about what positions to take up but I think it will improve in the next 3 games. Lallana, Markovic and Lallana...that's 3 out of the front 4 that are new signings.

He really did do the work of two men today

Ballotelli will never ever have the work rate of Suarez or Sturridge and unless he's gonna score pens or tap ins this might have been a splurge of ££££

You can't reach higher with the bottom hand. You reach higher with the top hand. Cos it's on top innit

You can reach wider with the bottom hand, but you lose to ability to adjust late to a swerving ball. For instance see this. So even if he wasn't doing it out of routine choice to take high shots with the top hand, and was instead deciding from the moment the ball was struck which hand to use, he chose correctly, and his "chances of saving it as it moves away" were much higher than had he used his other hand.

Really do think it is as simple as him being the kind of striker that thrives on having another player up front with him.

he's got to put away some of these chances/half chances otherwise he's not doing his job whatever else he might be doing.

should be your left unless you're mr. fantastic.

Which is fine if all you are doing is standing still and upright.

Problem with this is how many games can we get out of Sturridge and do we play Borini or Lambert with Balo

                      Deary me

First of all, you have changed things to reaching wide instead of reaching high which is what you actually said to start. Secondly, what happens when you are standing is different to when you are diving. It really is!

Which hand is closer to the top of the goal? Top hand or bottom hand?

                            Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers:
"The players were brilliant. We were clearly the dominant side in the game, but sometimes you don't get what you deserve in football.

"But for a wonder strike at the end of the game we would have got the three points.
"Balotelli should have scored. There was a touch on it [his shot] but I think he will think he should have scored.

He had some exceptional touches in the game.
"We should also have had a penalty. If the Gareth Barry handball was not a penalty then you won't see any penalties all year.

"But they get their point and we are happy with the performance, if not the result."

It's always close but no cigar. That's 5 games now, about 15 chances and 1 goal.

He's got it in him to improve and thought he was better today than usual.
