I wouldn't write off the Madrid match, but it would definitely be a bad idea no to start Sterling against QPR.

If we think this will be an easy match, then let him start and take him off early if we're comfortable. Let him miss a training session if he's tired.

That's a strong team. As much as I hate(d) GJ he can induce some serious pant wetting to their LB. Gerrard's awesometer should also be in red as he's had a good long break.

I'd consider playing Lucas infront of the defence and Gerrard at the tip to give Sterling some rest.
