Youre right.Originally posted by Chris View PostJudging by Suarez goal record for us before Brendan got here a hell of a lot of it.
I am extremely cheesed off with the drop off in our performance level post Luis Suarez. We have enhanced the squad overall whilst worsening our starting 11 but I expected better.
At least last season we could score our way out of trouble. This season were still letting in soft goals but don't have the same potency at the other end of the pitch.

Suarez Hunger and desire got an extra 20% out of our players and then added to that his intelligent movement meant defenders didnt have a clue what to do with our forward lineOriginally posted by alonso14 View PostYoure right.

We now have Mario.....We have gone from one of the world bests, With a will to win that I have never seen before.....To a work shy fop who is probably the most frustrating player I have ever seen on a red shirt....And that includes Robbie Keane_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

Utterly embarrassing and almost feels like a defeat. Sadly, that wasn't even close to the worst we've played this season.
Our defense is beyond terrible, i'd go as far as saying the worst in the league. We were very lucky not to be 2-0 down at half time. No guts, no passion, no plan B.
It's not going to get any better soon- why would it, we only have 1 player injured so that's practically our fully fit 11.
It's not knee jerk- there has been 1 good performance this season, the rest we could easily have lost or drawnOriginally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

Just like the tap-in he scored after their keeper saved Lallana's effort?Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostI agree he's not well suited to our style of play but look who was on hand to put away two tap ins if the defenders missed the own goals.
To me he offers nothing - his lack of movement is one of the big reasons we're looking so poor at the moment and his decision making is woeful. Maybe he'll come good if he scores a few and gets his confidence up, but I've seen nothing from him throughout his career to suggest he's what we need.A humble guy with healthy desire.

It was heartbreaking, I'm so embarrassed I've already booked the week off work. I just cant face going in.Originally posted by meffin View PostUtterly embarrassing and almost feels like a defeat.
It's nowhere near, might be crap but still not near the worst.Originally posted by meffin View PostOur defense is beyond terrible, i'd go as far as saying the worst in the league.
We scored 2 goals in the last few minutes, recovering from 2 setbacks, not sure thats good evidence of no guts or passion.Originally posted by meffin View PostNo guts, no passion, no plan B.

Sorry, you're right, we were incredible, fully deserved the 3 points and gave a performance to be proud of.Originally posted by Chris View PostIt was heartbreaking, I'm so embarrassed I've already booked the week off work. I just cant face going in.

Nope, there are actually plenty of inbetweens you know. We were poor today, "embarrassing" "worst defence in the league" and "no guts" is utter bollocks though.Originally posted by meffin View PostSorry, you're right, we were incredible, fully deserved the 3 points and gave a performance to be proud of.

For me we only looked like we cared after they got the first equaliser, at that point we went up a level or two and (attackwise) we started playing the way we should be all the time.Originally posted by Chris View PostWe scored 2 goals in the last few minutes, recovering from 2 setbacks, not sure thats good evidence of no guts or passion. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Fed up of listening to bellends moan about Rodgers. Too many still fawning over past managers. Let's get it straight, he's took us the closest we've come to winning the league. He's a genius to get that shower of ****e close to winning the league. He's took average & good players & made them good and great players. I and many others wouldn't have lost any sleep had we sold Suarez when Rodgers came in, same could be said for Henderson. As for Raheem, most agreed he should have been playing for Derby County in the second half of last season.
Balotelli is pissing me off. But if one man will get the best out of him, that's Rodgers. And whilst I'm very worried that any chipped ball to the penalty spot has us in cold sweats, it was good today to see us finally start to show some swagger and link up play in the final third.
As for Real Madrid, I seriously doubt they'll be playing like Wimbledon which is our major issue, so I wouldn't be surprised if we turn them over. Our best performances this season have come against teams that like to play. Southampton, Everton, Spurs & West Brom all like to play & we should have won everyone of them. Today QPR copied the West Ham mantra & Real won't do that.
Anyhow, at least today we rediscovered our pace on the break. Do that & teams won't be so brave when pushing onto us.Forwards.......

There are plenty of in betweens, but we weren't any of them. The other clubs watching that will be laughing at us. A woeful team made up of hasbeens, who were fairly **** in their prime, were easily the better side and caused us real problems for 90 minutes. Did you see the united match? They didn't play any better against us, we just let them play how they wanted and any other team would have beaten us comfortably. I found it embarrassing.Originally posted by Chris View PostNope, there are actually plenty of inbetweens you know. Whose defence is worse? Maybe Sunderland & Burnley. QPR kept us at bay quite easily.
They showed guts in the last 5 minutes- what about the previous 85?Originally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

Not one person has suggested he was anywhere near first choice. He was a last ditch gamble. He's capable of destroying a defence on his own in full flow, it's just getting him there. I think that come the end of the season we'll be seeing a different Mario. But for sure, we desperately miss the SAS. mind, for me we'd be in second if Danny had been fit. He's a massive loss as is Luis. We can't cope without both.Originally posted by The Erectile Banana View PostJust like the tap-in he scored after their keeper saved Lallana's effort?
