It's a strange one though isn't it. "Only losing 3-0". Kind of implies that we should, all things being equal, be expecting to lose that game by at least four clear goals. What other games do people have such an extreme expectation? Maybe when a decent national side is facing Andorra or someone. Are we really the Andorra to Madrid's Germany? I'm not convinced it's reasonable to expect the difference to be as stark as that. I actually see that result as a turning point in our season.
People often discuss a win when a team has been on a losing streak as a possible turning point during a season. I actually think that performance and the team we've played against might actually help improve us for the remainder of this season.
