        None of us know do we? We pick up on his shorts, or the way he comes across on the bench. But if he was that much of an idiot, Brendan would have even more of a blind spot than he was accused of over his team selections earlier in the season.

        Imagine being under as much pressure as he's under and going into Melwood with a shorts wearing, clipboard proffering 'yes man' buffoon in support. You wouldn't.

        I don't think he's a boot room legend in the making but he can't be as inept as he looks on TV or at the match. (unless in truth Colin is Brendan's landlord)

          Yes, the shorts do him no favours

          I think I agree with those that have said it's pretty difficult to know if he's any good at his job or not, but he's never struck me as a particularly bright.

              Do you need to be bright to be a good coach?

              He is obviously rated by Rodgers and part of a team who have done a good job for us. Beyond that I really don't feel qualified to say much (other than to agree re: the shorts but suggest that perhaps not caring about appearances is not a bad thing and perhaps a useful counterpoint to Rodgers).

                                Was just wondering...hear all these rumours that he has gone, but couldn't recall seeing an official announcement.

                                Maybe they're just working out severance packages etc before it can be officially announced.
