Keeper was ace, Moreno was ace, Kolo was ace, Can was ace. Everyone else was decent too, except Allen and Markovich who were meh. A very positive display and shows we have a good squad. Just need a worldie or two.

Never really like bigging up a defeat too much but got to acknowledge our place in the pecking order, the fact were without our best player (Sturridge) and have been in miserable form I was pretty proud considering. I'd happily let that same 11 go at Chelsea, though wouldnt grumble at a few changes either. Think it'd be really poor if Toure and Can dont start that one.

Swap Sturridge for Borini and sterling for Markovic and we'd have had a decent chance.

Don't think defending as a unit is an issue, just individual mistakes & set pieces. Really improved in that regards.

However, it's about balance. We can't sit back all game against teams like Palace.

good, for the first time this season, brendan has changed what needed to be changed, addressed all of the issues a lot of people saw in the team - gerrard, balo, johnson,..more of the same against chelsea, and hopefully we'll see sturridge at some point in that game.

Manquillo - No great for me, Marcelo ran riot - 5/10
Skrtel - Fairly solid with the odd brain fart thrown in - 6/10
Toure - Not a foot wrong from what I saw - 8/10
Moreno - Bags of energy, lacks anything in front of him and again brain farts - 8/10
Lucas - Done his job - 7/10
Allen - Hardworking, poor on the ball 6/10
Can - Our best in the middle of the park, offers a bit of everything 7/10
Markovic - Yet more minutes pass him by - 5/10
Lallana - See Allen 6/10
Borini - Same again 6/10

Yeah actually, Hendo for Allen, Sterling for Markovic and that'd be my 11. They played well against Swansea too, far better than the "best 11" have been anyway.
