I was one of the posters that didn't mind the team that started against Madrid. However, having seen today's line-up I'm in agreement that Rodgers raised the white flag last Wednesday. I just cannot believe that only Can was rewarded for his performance. If we end up losing Rodgers will get slaughtered and rightly so.

Personally i thought his team selection vs madrid was decent but IMO he considered that line up was resting his better players. Personally i thought we looked more balanced & feel that no player have earned the right to be a starter this season.Last edited by danperkins; 08-11-14, 01:06 PM.Comment

Yeah if Johnson and Lovren play **** yet again then he will get slaughtered. I wouldn't have Johnson anywhere near our first team these days. Would rather than played Manquillo or Toure based on effort aloneComment

He clearly feels that Johnson,Lovren & Balotelli are the best players to start in their respective positions... god only knows why but they really need to get the ****ing finger out & starting putting in some decent performances. I think Chelsea will dominate set pieces defensively & offensively.Comment

Im not a big fan of Kolo Toure but he earned himself a start today but his brilliant performance against Madrid. I just can't understand why he wouldn't pick him todayComment
