Why is the King down as being only very good first time around?

A double, touching distance of two more doubles plus possibly the most exciting team we've ever had deserve more than just very good, no?

        Signed Suarez too.

See the manager two before him who was still advising him in his first tenure.
As good as Kenny may have been, he had a lot of help first time round. Paisley in my opinion is easily the best manager who has ever lived and I've always contended that KD's first team was BP's last.

I would rate Rafa a bit higher - his major problem was that the support he thought he had from the owners dried up - remember the players he wanted to buy (and maybe could have got) - Alves, Aguero etc. They ran out of money and promises and then it all turned sour.

Still, Shankly may have rescued us, but Paisley made us unbeatable.
          Really?

I read that Paisley's mentorship was overplayed and he was disappointed that Kenny didn't refer to him more in his first season in charge.

I am lucky enough to have grown up during the Paisley era.

It was almost boring, monotonous with the regularity we used to win.

We were the ****in best and Bob Paisley was the best.
              I love Sarah

                Kenny Dalglish Very Good

                Ronnie Moran OK

                Graeme Souness Diabolical

                Roy Evans Disappointing

                Evans/Houllier Waste of time

                Gerrard Houllier OK, but boring

Rafael Benitez Good, but frustratingly boring

Roy Hodgson ****ing abysmal.... I almost lost the will to live

Kenny Dalglish OK to begin with.....however....

Brendan Rodgers Its beginning to look dodgy.....
He won the the Champions Lg in his First season
He won the FA Cup in his 2nd Season
He cam runner up in Champions Lg in his 3rd season
He reached the Semi Final in the Champions Lg in his 4th season
He came 2nd in the Lg and Qrt finals of the Champions Lg in his 5th season
and in his worse season he reached the Semi Finals of the Europa Cup

A lot of that was achieved with a huge cloud of uncertainty over ownership and he signed and developed a large selection of players who are consideredn modern day legends
& all that constitutes as .......Good

                        38.89% seems a popular number...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
