We play toooo many backwords & sideways passes and that allows the opposition to get back in position behind the ball. When we do try take the ball forwards there aint no space!

This is Rafa all over again. Alonso leaving, signing ****ing Aquilani and things go to ****.

The parallels end there though. That was due to Rafa not being given the funds build upon things. And we weren't near this awful.

So many issues but they all stem for a lack of confidence. The ball watching is criminal. No-one there to do any intelligent movement/marking, apart from Joe Allen, which is a sad state of affairs.

Excellent free kick (although it was a poor decision by the ref).

Brendan's faith in Gerrard and Lovren (and our complete lack of shape in midfield) could be his downfall.
