I'd say that Gerrard,Johnson and Lovren are woeful week in week out.

What about Skrtel? ****ing useless on the ball and forever leaving the ball or running into our players. Complete lack of communication from someone who should be a mainstay and a calming influence. I've seen enough tbh. He was ****e last year and he's ****e this year. He attacks the ball at least but that's about it.

Sorry mate but Rodgers got us a second place and playing the best football this club has seen since we last won the the league. Yes things are going wrong big time for him right now but to lump him in with Hodgson is not on IMO.

This is 2014. A bad start to the league and you're always under pressure. Some MUFC fans wanted Ferguson sacked after finishing 2nd or 3rd once, tells you everything. But he has Yank owners and if he thinks he'll get time he's sadly mistaken, no matter what they may say to his face. The culture that has been adopted in this country has long been a constant in the USA.

But for all the Rafa in brigade. You think he'd abide by a transfer committee? The famous buying a lamp instead of a sofa at Valencia would be very apparent here.

I had zero confidence before the game, and I've got zero anger or disappointment at the moment. I knew we'd lose. Were ****ed.

We have zero goal threat
A lightweight midfield
A shocking back four
And keeper completely shot of confidence

I could have written this; exactly how I felt pre & post game, 6-7 months ago........ see like a lifetime

Allen kept the ball and kept his flank solid. You may call him neutral, and he is. But you don't see teams strolling through his side of the pitch and in fairness, we should have enough players in the side who can win a game without needing every single player on the pitch to have the ability to dribble past three of four or do a defence splitting pass.

But for me, without Hendo, should have been Can & Allen in midfield with one of Gerrard or Lucas playing away from home. One of our million or so forward thinking players at the tip, and two up top.

Hes got no strength is easily bullied and players shrug him off like hes a leaf in the wind

Doesnt dominate the ball, or fight.

In possession he plays sideways or backwards which allows other teams to apply pressure and put you under pressure

I don't know what the thinking was behind many of our summer purchases. And I don't know who the blame lies with. I also don't know what system Rodgers prefers. I know he likes to think he's a bit clever in that his team can play multiple systems, but you look at any top side in history - they may play differently, but the formation and best XI will be pretty constant.

This summer he should have picked a formation he likes and signed the players for that system. Maybe they just weren't available? Who knows. But it's pretty clear he has absolutely no idea what is his preferred system and who the best players are for it. And if he doesn't know that, and is constantly cheating the system - he's screwed.

The best managers change the way the team play, not the formation they start with. I think Rodgers has it the wrong way round. His teams always try and play the same way, but the formations are random.

It's crazy that Kolo played the best of any of te c/b's against RM & he is dropped........ Same for Lucas, protected the back4 more than anyone has this season. BR needs to pick a team on form not reputation or he will be sacked before XMAS.

On the radio Ray Houghton was calling Coutinho fit to burn for the ease Palace players were going passed him.

Don't dive in but at least get your body in the way so the opposition can't waltz passed you.

He's a good player going forward but a liability in defence.

Having him and Sterling in the same side is a bit of a luxury at the moment when the team needs to be able to grind our results.

I dont like him because hes a nothingman

There have been players in the past that dont look great but do a job but I dont see anything with him

He is weak, easily bullied, doesnt win enough possession, plays constant sideways and backwards passes that put you under pressure

Oh and as for Downing I detested him from even before we went for him becausehe was mentally weak and a chicken

Perhaps but we have enough good/decent players to be higher on the table than we are and playing much better football than we are too.
