Job done really as annoying as that was, beat Basel and we are through which was the same scenario if we'd have won anyway. But winning for our confidence would have been nice.

Shocking from Glen on their goal, just bone idol laziness. Skrtel was disgustingly bad, they must have done about 15 chipped passes down the side of him that he didnt read every. single. time!!

Think taking Sterling off was poor too, we looked more likely to score than them when he was on.

Stoke is huge, they are a style nightmare for any good side who are currently struggling, they won at City and Spurs.

I'm happy with that. I thought we would get tonked so to pick up a point where Madrid only won 2-1 and Basel lost is a decent result given our current problems.

Its still in our hands. We just need to make sure we dont draw anyone remotely decent in the next round.
