The only thing that worries me is that this is our most defensive team we can put together and we still let in 2 goals.

We are in for an absolute stunner. An Anfield great.

Beating Basel on a magic night will be the game changer needed. What a great opportunity!

That's the best I can come up with.

Liverpool should be paying me my cable subscription if they want me to watch this repeated bull****.

That's the only thing that worries you?

Not watched a lot of football have you.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I have said a few times that the changes we can make in the back and midfield will make very little difference to us defensively

We need to get back to being more offensive because defensively we can't be fixed without new players

Moreno (our brilliant substitution by Rodgers) was fast asleep at the near post for their equalizer

Meh. Is this really happening? Because it feels like this scenario is too ridiculous to be real life... but then again this is Liverpool we're talking about so anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

Thought Sterling looked bright and Lambert worked hard. Midfield looked a bit more solid (Lucas, Allen and Henderson). Gerrard tried to be everywhere, worked hard but on times looked lost (don't think Rodger's knows where or how to play him). Defence looked better with Toure at CB (but that doesn't say much).

Brendan - another baffling sub. Is Lallana injured?

Result isn't too bad (2-2 away in the CL) but, truth is, our team performance was mediocre at best.
                          Another MASSIVE game

I honestly don't think its the personnel, I think it's the coaching staff. How can the likes of Pulis make second rate defenders a solid unit?

You look at the defenders in our squad, all internationally capped, all played at the highest level for a long time. Yet totally inept and lack any idea of how to clear the ball, or defend a set piece.

Didn't see the game but another 2 goals conceded and unable to see a game out, not great BUT we can still some how go through in this group. Madrid done us a massive favour tonight.
