I have never seen two more inept players when it comes to Lucas and Coutinho in relation to crossing and shooting. It's frankly embarrassing that they are professional footballers and aren't even half decent at two of the most basic things for any footballer.

Most important and needed improvement first. There is no pretending going forward we are devoid of ideas but being without Sturridge makes a difference.

Its difficult without Sturridge but its impossible without movement, thats what we're lacking most. There was a point where 3/4 players were stood still on the edge of the Sunderland box, offering nothing, so easy to mark its untrue.
