On FIFA 15 or FM2015 I'm sure we'd all have spent the money better, but on those games the players normally don't take too much convincing to sign & don't take too long to settle. In reality it's different.

Why are you being so simplistic about it all? No one is happy with a draw at home to Sunderland, but it happens. What's more disappointing? Drawing at home when you are struggling for goals and confidence or drawing at home when you are bang in form? The latter has happened a lot in the past and I found this more frustrating.

The defense looks solid again. That will bring the foundation we need to build on. Skertel, kalo and Lucas were all ace today.

Sterling is a gift and once Sturridge returns he will blossom.

Gerrard looks great at the 70 min mark. What a game he brought today!

I think there is every reason to park the knee jerk and enjoy Xmas. We are getting there ffs

Lambert isn't static, that's how slow he is

Although at least he makes a bit of an effort

I thought we showed some good spells going forward. Yes, the final ball was a problem, but we couldn't even begin a break a few weeks ago!
When they are 9 men behind the ball, it's going to be bloody hard to break through.

            Overall, a forward move....ish

Think we'll scrape past Basel with a pumped up crowd etc but dreading next weekend, Utd are woeful aswell but I just dont see how we'll score many or keep em out there.

Why was this not planned for?

Exactly. 'I hate watching us play', 'I'm dreading playing so-and-so'; boo-****ing-hoo, it's part and parcel of being a football supporter.

lack of attacking talent is obvious, but i like the fact that we're not easy to break down anymore, whuich is all we could ask for after the last few weeks.

lucas (who was fantastic again) and kolo make such a difference.

raheen is finding a bit of form aswell, and stevie looks much bettter in a forward role.

now hopefully the basel game can be like the olympiacos one.

Thought sterling, Lucas, Johnson, Gerrard were good. Sterling is our only real attacking threat, but needs to learn how to pick out a man with the cross.

Henderson runs around a lot and wins the ball, but his use of it is terrible. Either a sideways pass to Glen J, or simply losing it. His shooting also leaves something to be desired. Thought he was useless today. Moreno doesn't do enough either. Hardly solid at defending and has an error or two in him. Should be getting

Skrtel clears a lot of balls, but he whacked too many high balls out of defence instead of taking the time he had and playing it to our midfield.

Obviously borini needs to look for a new club.

                    Coutinho- wasteful
Lallana - pushed off the ball to easily
                    Lambert - Static

                        1 shot on target apparently.

Still, 7 points from the last 9 can't be bad.

If Utd beat Southampton they will go into the game against us 7 points ahead. Lose that and it'll be 10 points behind them. Personally, I think Rodgers is on the brink of being sacked should we go out of the cl next week and lose to utd.
