1st half lost us it.

Markovic looked lively when he came on, I don't think it was a red, I honestly think he misjudges how quick the player is coming in on him and tries to hold him off. Yellow for clumsiness probably.

Moreno's attitude was ****ing superb! And we actually put up a fight in the 2nd half but WHERE WAS THE DESIRE in the 1st?

Gerrard's free kick was good and he did some okay things but you could see his age at times and it effected us in decent positions.

We defended better with 10 men and 3 at the back

Time to give an opportunity to the likes of Markovic, Can, lallana etc in the Europa league. Let some of the young lads play too, pointless tournament but a great opportunity for some of the fringe players to play. Would drop most of those that have played so far for the Europa games.

If we lose to United and arsenal....then we are only a few dropped points away from having the Europa as our most important competition and our only chance to get into next years CL
