I've had a bottle of wine so my courage is a bit stronger.

Don't know where to start really, have the players lost their bottle or are they confidence players, thriving on those around them? Now that that talent has gone, have they got it in them to stand up and be counted? I'm not so sure.

I've read that for the first time in a long time we're finally without a mercurial striker, having a talented front man has gone part and parcel with this club especially this past 20 years when the teams haven't been so great.

It seems destined that we will find another, who or where they will come from I don't know.

Lots mention Lacazzette but I've never seen him play. Don't know who we can attract who's a talent, where are we going to find someone?

I know it's a negative thread but I'm hopeful we can find a decent striker, someone like Suarez who will galvanize everyone around him. Hopefully January will be that time. I'm still going to try and remain positive till tomorrow when I sober up.

Where the **** are Texeira, Suso and Sinclair? If it's clear that we're **** right now then wouldn't it be a decent idea to try younger, hungrier players with some level of skill to improve the team? If they're not good enough then **** them off otherwise what's the point in keeping them?

There's an element of risk involved. The pressure on the team as a whole is immense and giving them playing time in a disfunctional first team where the first team players can't look after themselves, never mind offering support to a youngster could be detrimental to their development.

I'm not sure that Suso is likely to be the answer. He's similar in style to players who are in/around the first team and obviously not a clear upgrade on Coutinho or Lallana. Texeira is still at Brighton on loan isn't he? I suspect the same applied to him too anyway.

However, putting a young striker on the bench at least, if Rodgers has no faith in Borini, would seem eminently sensible.

I don't think Suso is at all similar to Lallana or Coutinho. Suso for me seems like he can play deeper and actually do something with the ball as well as make space to receive. He's a far better passer than Allen!

You've just hit on the solution to the problem Slinks. Give them all a bottle of wine before a game, get them braver!
