I think we've more than matched Manchester United in all areas except midfield. Our attacking football has come alive and our pressing from the front is great to see. We just lack some composure and as a team not in the greatest of form, it's no surprise, especially as we are trying to force that final ball. How our midfield crumbles is a concern, but we could just be a striker and a 'keeper away from beating these cunts. De Gea has kept them in the game and the number of yellow cards Manchester United have had to take to stop our counter-attacking football is testament to how ****e their defence is.

Unfortunately, we lack some self-belief to turn this around. We need a big team talk from Rodgers at half time.

Have to admit, even if they get someone sent off I can't see us getting back in this.

Offside or not you dont let mata run across the backline and not pick him up. They're just a bunch of brain dead ****wits at the back. Wouldn't know which way a lift went if they had two guesses.

Also I don't understand why no-one was appealing for the offside, they must have known van persie had got a touch, Jones briefly put his hand up, but in those situations you need to get in the refs face, even if he doesn't change the decision you need to make him know that he got it wrong to try and get him to balance it out later in the game. They all just looked so accepting of it which IMO shows a lack of passion and team spirit.

I'd like to say we've been dog**** but we haven't, we really should be winning this game.

We're poor defensively which we all knew anyway but we've played ok bar some sloppy passing and missed opportunities.

if you work the ball into positions then you have only done half the job. You need to finish them.....

We know we are ****e defensively but guess what - dropping Lucas and also playing Brad Jones is not going to improve any of that. It was a **** up in selection. For about the 10th time this season.

And when Brendan comes out after the game and says how we're on a journey, how we had good possession, and how it will all come together - well i don't want to ****in hear it anymore. Don't get all the criticism. We've been by far the better side. Many of us have said ditch Lambert and try out Sterling up top for his movement. He's been in time & time again, but you see why Rodgers tried to persevere with the strikers he's had. Raheem just can't finish.

Annoyingly, Lallana has twice had an open goal and not been passed too. Raheem should above squared when through the second time, whilst. Moreno could have squared it instead of trying to knock it ahead for a strike. United..... They've had two chances. And one was offside. They've literally done nothing else and we've played them off the park. But other teams have done similar in the past few games and also lost.

That's what happens when you have top strikers. You win when you're being outplayed.

Today does show why everyone has been banging on how we'll be much improved with Sturridge back. He'd have had a hat trick by now.
