I don't think its the formation.

3 at back was always going to concede goals. Players too uncomfortable back there playing wide. Toure and Sakho look so nervy out in wide areas & Skrtel isn't calm enough to be a lone CB.

We create a lot of chances in this formation but you can't play it every week 3 vs United, should have been 3 vs Bournemouth & now 2 vs Arsenal. Was having a debate with Danny the other day saying that IMO 3 at the back was ok vs Bournemouth but Arsenal have too much quality and are too dangerous to play so open.

Yep, it's not, it's been good and limited them really well but if you have clowns that cant mark at set pieces etc.

We've had 5 good chances from the edge of the box and missed them all. Coutinho and Lucas twice plus Gerrard's header. Not good enough.

If we take some of these chances we create, being 3-0 up would deflate the other team. Instead they have a glimmer of hope when it's only 1-0 & before you know it we're losing 2-1 & deflated ourselves after playing soo well.
Need to learn how to score. I reckon that would put less pressure on our defence.
