Agreed, is the defending issues players or coaching? Probably a bit off both IMO.

Gerrard also needs to be a part of the team flow and cut out all the Hollywood ****. The team played really well and he needs to fit into that flow consistently.

I like the formation as it makes us play attacking football but Toure isn't comfortable on right, Sakho looks too slow to play out left & Skrtel isn't an organiser and doesn't have the calming influence to play as a lone CB. Although apart from the mistake I thought Skrtel played well. Also think Henderson is wasted playing wing back... just a glorified work horse.

Thought Coutinho was magic & Markovic with another good display.. faded in second half but bound to happen for awhile until he gets use to the position.

We were always going to concede with the personnel playing in that formation. Knew it would be a cracker though, end to end. We where much the better side but just too easy to score against.

Gerrard needs to **** off with these Hollywood balls, he was 100% responsible for their second.

Arsenal were shocking today, and they managed to get something

Don't think they were. Looked more a case of us playing fairly well than it being them playing poorly.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

We also need a forwards/attacking/shooting coach.

I thought Jones had an excellent game for us. He's got pretty decent feet and he never put us under undue pressure.

The way we defend although I'm getting more confidence with Sakho back in the side. He's a beast.

Sterling was so much better on the left.

Feel sorry for Borini. Over enthusiasm and trying to impress got him two yellow cards and he was right to be pissed off at the throw in. 2-1 down trying to get back in the game and the officials make a **** decision like that. The blind as **** lino that called the corner in the first half.

Lallana and Sterling while trying very hard I thought were far too wasteful with the ball. A draw feels like a bonus given that we went behind but at the end of the day we should have won it comfortably.

Thank god they're still fighting. Good today, deserved more.

The players who put the ball in the net, and keep it out the other end, are the ones that really make the difference and win you matches.

They also cost the most money which is probably why we sell more of them than we buy.

Yeah I thought Skippy did well too. Mig can keep the bench warm a little longer.

Decent performance tbf. Just need a striker capable of converting more chances to goals.

Yeah Sterling is so much better on the wings, never a forward but he done his best up there.

We played well, just frustrating watching us.

Gerrard and Lucas played well in midfield. Alternating between one dropping deep, the other pushing up.
                          Another MASSIVE game

I'd like to see balotelli given a chance in this formation, before binning him off. He has a shed loads of talent and is capable of so much more.

He reads the game well (from a sweeper point of view). He's still a bit dodgy though

We must be the most easiest team to score against. We seem to have gone backwards defensivly and that is my biggest concern under rodgers.
