Played quite well, lots of movement and energy in the first half especially, though I think Arsenal were very poor. For all the possession though we created few clear chances.

Skrtel is bloody useless, how he managed to stay on is beyond me, though it was just as well he did in the end.

Since the beginning of September, we've only beaten West Brom, QPR, Leicester and Stoke in the League, so there's a lot to prove before we start believing we've turned a corner.

The funny thing is, I still think a Mario and Sturridge partnership will work well, given the opportunity, and a decent striker may have made all the difference this afternoon.

I can actually live with us being woeful at the back as long as we are banging them in at the other end and winning games, it's great to watch. He's not fixing the defense, he's had long enough and showed no signs so we need to crack on with sorting the goals getting scored by the bagful part.

Coutinho was so frustrating today. How can you be so talented yet so **** at striking the ball?! It's like all that skill deserts him when he sees the goal.

The difference between being a decent player and a £50m+ player.

In all fairness, we have no one in the squad that can strike the ball. Our midfield had plenty of opportunities today but fluffed their lines again and again, Coutinho can't shoot, gerrard has lost the ability and Lucas never had the ability.

True, it's just Coutinho makes the game look so easy and yet can't shoot.

How the **** did we not win that?

Outplayed and outpressed them for 100 minutes more or less, and somehow still manage to only get a draw. Misleading a bit that initially felt happy coming back with 10 men that late.

Skrtel for me was the big sinner, even with some redemption at the end. That complete lack of awareness in the box is so frustrating. Never should have allowed the two goals!

We created loads of chances, and plenty to win the match, but our midfielders/strikers are toothless. Coutinho, Sterling and Lucas missed some huge chances.

                  Just got back from this.

Sakho was decent, so much better than Lovren.

I was reading with surprise alarms that people thought Jones was good - he wasn't. He was bizarre. I think it must have been Ozzies saying he was ok.

Coutinho was a clear MOTM for me, his running on the ball and his ability to carry it forward is vital for the team. He was doing the snappy tackling a few times as well.

Lallana frustrated the hell out of me, he seemed to get caught out needing an age on the ball - he's so far away from being worth £25m.

Borini shouted something at Rodgers as he went off - did anyone see this? Any press / TV about it?

The crowd around me today were the worst I have known. Most of them were tourists getting their piccies taken with match scarves and tickets in hand. 3 guys around me spent more time looking at their phones than watching the game.

One dickhead spent the whole game screaming at Markovic, calling him a cunt and how **** he is.

One fella tried to jump on the pitch to fight Podolski when he was warming up - he was screaming at him to move so he could see, Podolski sort of gestured a "shut up" and the guy went nuts - steward had to stop him!

Frustrating game, but they do look a bit better. Arsenal weren't even in it in the first half

Biggest positive is that we've reverted back to the style of football that made us excellent for 18 months - high line, constant intense pressing, moving the ball fast, players making runs on and off the ball etc.
We just need to keep this going get Sturridge back and hopefully buy a striker next month and I'm confident we can at the very least challenge for 4th spot.

Im happier with us playing that kind of attacking football with Lallana, Markovic and Coutinho all on the park. I would rather drop 2 points but atleast know that we are moving in the right direction unlike a few weeks ago when we were picking negative line-up's and showing no ambition

You know, I did wonder - but then I remembered you're from Sheffield.

Our build up in terms of attacking is much better. The defence is still shambolic.

At least there are positive signs which can be taken away. Performing like that attacking wise (need to put these chances away) consistently for three games (two of which were against big sides) is a big step in the right direction.

there were a few setups for a Gerrard thunderbolt today and they were all tamely hit. He was poor overall actually, slipped a couple of times in dangerous positions and over hit passes out of play. It's just not working for him this season.

Would Ashley Williams be an improvement on what we've spent/got in terms of centre halves. An organiser and leader to be fair - Can't be any worse at defending than Lovren/Skrtel or Toure ?
