The replay will show him gritting his teeth as if he's moving deliberately to cause him a mischief. Watch his face on the close up replay from the right ... The at movement gives it away too. It's out of frustration because Can has hold of him.

I have been saying this for years........but a lot of the players seem to play better when gerrard is not in the team. The likes of lucas henderson and coutinho seem to play their natural game a bit more and take on more responsibility. I love gerrard but i think it would be better for LFC if we used him as an impact player from now on..

I think it is impossible to know. He could be gritting his teeth as he's determined to been free, its natural to try and free yourself. Looks worse than was possibly intended.
