Liverpool vs Leicester City Post Match Thread

Well that was a load of crap. Nobody making forward runs into space. Why can other teams do this but we remain stationary?

What a wasted chance. Depressing, they are absolutely horrific and we made them look like Bayern at times.

Stupid team selection. Them two in the middle will never work and never has done!
Manquillo has been a rock all season aswell but doesnt seem to be allowed to start more than about 2 games a month.

We need a striker badly, Sterling can't play that role.

What a disappointing second half, and well most of first half as well.

Why can't any of our players finish a chance?!?!!

And why for the love of god can't we make basic defending?!?!!

Not many positives from this other than us not loosing points to other rivals for fourth than Southampton...

Sakho was good, the Cout too but the rest were Meh. Lichester Citeh were Grand, played well.

**** and conceded 2 goals at home to bottom of the league. Skrtel's not on the pitch.

That's got to be ****ing awkward for some

Rogers is a bit of a prick and Gerrard offers nothing bar a good penalty kick.
The team from the other night should have started with Kolo in for Skrtel but Brendan knows best and as a result we played dog**** football and start the year on the wrong note.

Dreadful again, one step forward and two steps back.

It's absolutely mindless to continue to play Gerrard and Lucas together, even worse when we'd found a winning formula over the last few games. Just can't understand Rodgers.

Not the team it's the way we set up. What a chance to claw some points back. Gotta be looking at Rodgers again.

Have to say, it's exactly what I expected. They had an additional 29 hours rest prior to this one as well as making changes in their forward line and central midfield so they could run and get in our faces all game.

For me, I'd have rotated Gerrard for Lucas and kept Hendo Central. In fairness Schlupp is the danger man so I see why Rodgers went with that. Annoying as if you take away that two minute spell, they didn't really threaten at all. Sadly, we only started to have a go late on when Leicester decided to drop.

In Rodgers head he must think he's the next Shanks when in reality he's more Souness than anything at the minute. He knows the pressure is on and does that.

The number issue was that we were overrun in midfield for the vast majority of the game.

Why can't players continue their runs into space? And why do we still leave acres of space in front of our defence for the opposition to have a little dance and a go at goal?

Sorry Rodgers but Lucas and Gerrard will never work. It's time to call it a day.
