Too many teams have finished 4th season after season and done nothing with it. Kenny may not have come 4th but at least we won a cup. But obviously, it's telling that a top player would join Arsenal. The reason being that despite winning nothing, they've in the Champions League for about 17 consecutive seasons or something.Originally posted by G View PostNo but it lets you build the finances that will allow you to build the squad capable of going for trophies.
We needed to be in the champions League three years on the bounce, then Players might have seen us as a big fish once again.Forwards.......

We should move our training ground to London and have players commute to Liverpool for matches.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostToo many teams have finished 4th season after season and done nothing with it. Stick him inOriginally posted by -V- View PostNo way would I play a strong team. Those guys have been through a lot of games recently. I would rest nearly the whole first 11. Especially Lucas, G, Henderson, Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling, Skrtel and even Sakho
My team would be -
............Mignolet
..McLaughlin...Lovren....Enrique
Manquillo...Can...Allen....Moreno
....Balotelli.....Lambert.....Borini
Markovic is another one we could play but I wouldn't want to see his getting booted off the park. We have Rossiter, Suso, Ojo etc who could all take part. Forget taking this one seriously, its not important in the grand scheme of things

My greatest football memory was as a result of finishing fourth.Originally posted by ChrisDR1968 View PostIf there's a trophy there to be won we should always go for it imo
You don't build memories by finishing 4th in the league
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Vaguely related - I once saw some toilet cubicle graffiti of an all time Everton XI that had 12 players in it.Originally posted by Reece View PostI know AFC Wimbledon are a few leagues below us but I think only playing with 10 players is a little disrespectful.
It still looked rubbish.Football without Origi is nothing
