I was so confident that we'd win in 88 that I bet 50 quid on it - and I never bet. I was on the point of offering to have my body shaved in public (we were at my place, round the corner from Plough Lane) and having a bit of a do. Thank god I kept my gob shut. 50 quid was all I had.

I haven't had a bet on this match - and am not confident that we'll win this one either.
