Its not just his running though, his link up play with the midfield has been pretty good.

I think most people would say he's played alright the last 10-15 mins, but he struggled as usual for most of that half. He's on a 6/10 at the moment.

Completely dominated Sunderland, just a pity we couldn't put few more away.... still precarious at 1-0. Markovic & Coutinho have been quality going forward, so dangerous. Henderson & Lucas have controlled the midfield & Lucas sitting there allows Henderson is break forward on times.. which never happened when playing beside Stevie.

Defensively solid too. Really need that second goal. Playing Henderson beside Lucas & Gerrard playing further forward is what so many of us have asked for. We just seems so much more balanced now & Rodgers bringing Can in at RCB has been a great move so credit to him for that.

Just need that second goal. I have visions of Sunderland getting a spawny equaliser & that seed of doubt creeping back into us. Borini is completely headless but at least he's playing more to our style of movement & tempo. Can't wait until Sturridge is back!!

I'd leave Borini on. At least if he gets sent off after 5 minutes we only have to play 40 minutes with 10 men rather than the 45 we'd have to play with 10 men if Mario comes on at half time

I think Balotelli would ruin our build up play with his selfishness but hope he will change as he is not guaranteed a start anymore.
