      Lambert + Balotelli was a really strange decision. One or the other you could understand but doubling down on Sturridge staying fit was an unnecessary gamble. A mobile, pacey forward of any talent would have made a big difference.

      That said if Balotelli kicks on in the rest of the season I might have to reassess somewhat. He has looked to be learning which was something no one really expected to happen.
