We don't have a good record against that Portugese tosser but we're in form so we have a chance It's a pity Lallana's out as he's a real miss but a forward line of Borini (who it looks like we're stuck with until the end of this season and possibly beyond), Sterling and Coutinho should serve us well.

I'll go with a one goal lead at half-time and a 3-1 win at full-time.

That will make the second leg very interesting indeed

Last 10 games at SB. 4 wins, 3 losses, 3 draws. Only lost 1 game by more than one goal.

Decent record there, so think we have every chance providing we aren't behind after the Anfield match.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think we either need a goalless draw, which is unlikely, or any kind of victory. I guess if I was to be realistic - we are playing well but they were right at their best on the weekend. It's a very tall order to even just avoid defeat.

If we turn up we will give them a good game though. I just hope the energy levels of the players see us through.
        Forwards.......

Just hope Rodgers does not make too many changes for the game. Would prefer to see the back up players used for the Bolton game rather than changing our line up/style for Chelsea.

The one thing we know about the Chelsea game is that they are going to be putting out a very strong team so messing about with things like moving Henderson back to the wingback slot to allow Gerrard into the team or bringing Lovern back in instead of Can are not needed.

The only change I would make would be Lallana for one of Coutinho or Sterling.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Away goals doen't count until AET, so I can't see that being a factor.

Good, it means he can play against Bolton.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
