Wing backs are vital to this formation and Manquillo/Enrique haven't done enough.

Lallana chews the ball too much, he's need and tidy at times but he needs to get his head up and take less touches.

Coutinho/Sterling looks dangerous but blunt. Like a serial killer with a butter knife.

Agree. Lacking a finisher on the pitch. For all the nice build up and quick passing, we always fail at the last hurdle. Sterling, Lallana and Coutinho all wasting chances.

Johnson and Enrique are both awful. Allen too. Markovic would give us another attacking output. Switch him for Allen as Bolton are offering very little to need two defensive midfielders.

A very resolute, well-drilled Bolton side. You could almost see their defence get tighter as the first half went on and all that space we were running into has been plugged. We have the quality, we just need the right movement; We work it well but the final ball is rarely on as we're static and nobody is making that run in the box.

If we can make our superiority count with a goal, then I'm sure it will open up and we can win comfortably.

I'd happily flog Enrique though, he offers nothing anywhere on the pitch.
