He's looking good isn't he? Looking at things positively maybe the extra game will help Markovic even more and give Sturridge more time on the pitch to hopefully hit top form - which we'll definitely need for the Europa League, which is a good chance - maybe our best - to get CL qualification next year (as well as the trophy itself of course!)

There is a lad and his old fella who have season tickets by me and they got off with about 5 mins to go EVERY match regardless of the score

If they stayed the extra 5 minutes for 18 home games they could get off 90 minutes early for the 19th and let somebody else have the ticket!

Coutinho and Sterling were frustrating when it mattered.

Lallana was really poor.

Markovic was good when he came on.

Yes - and he's only 20 years old. He looks comfortable in that LWB role. He's got pace, good touch and he's decisive. Some of the link-up play between Markovic, Coutinho and Sterling is brilliant. When Sturridge is in the team, and up to speed, they'll give opposition defenders nightmares.
