    Cameron Brannagan

Played tonight for the under 21's.

Looks a real tidy player, think he will be decent shortly and wouldn't be surprised to see him make the step up.

    Excellent on the ball.

Looked a bit lightweight with no real pace, and not enough skill as Coutinho. Against medium fodder he's good but against semi decent opposition like tonight he can struggle.

Didn't help the rest of the team played like drugged donkeys.
    One tit for another.

U21 team was very disappointing. Worst LFC v Utd reserve teams I can remember.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

I'm saying Brannagan won't play 25 games for Liverpool. I'm doubtful he'll actually start 5 times for the first team in proper matches.

Ibe, Ojo, Rossiter, Williams, Chirivella, Wilson, Canos , Kane, Dhanda, all have more potential.
            Add to that list Teixieira.

All those listed above except Williams, Chirivella and Rossiter can play in the 10 role that Brannagan plays in.

Brannigan is in the bracket of Smith, McLoughlin, Dunn and Lloyd Jones who might go on to have good careers elsewhere.

He looked it at U18 level but as happens so often he's levelled out. I think he'll be a decent L1/L2 player.

Injuries did for Mclaughlin. Was very pacy and a tricky dribbler before his numerous periods out. Now he can't outrun himself. Shame really. Brad Smith has had similar bad luck on the other wing.

Interesting to hear Warnock say he was the star of the show in Stevie G’s testimonial. Said Bellamy turned to him and proclaimed ‘he is going to be some player’.

Even ignoring the Barca and Madrid links, he’s obviously extremely well thought of in the game. Where will he fit in under Klopp though? It’s obvious the type of players we are targeting now and unfortunately he doesn’t seem to meet the criteria, so what do we do so we don’t stunt his development?

Did Klopp have any similar players in his Dortmund squad?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He started 5 proper games last season - 3 FA Cup, 1 League Cup and 1 Prem - or maybe Cups do not count as proper

I thought he looked really good against West Ham in the cup. I think we need to ensure we give him first team exposure this season.
