Great effort, deserved to go through by 2 or 3 goals on the balance of the tie but wasnt to be. If we find that level in the Europa or FA Cup we win at least one, theres no doubt about that.

Dont think it's really the place to be slagging players off after that but some wont be able to help themselves, Can was ****, Sakho was ****, Henderson was ****, Glen was ****, Balo was **** etc etc but the best team in the country could only scrape by us in ET.

Don't agree with those. Can did his best and Henderson ran into an in form Hazard. Hard to deal with him when you are on a yellow card that early into a 120 min game.

Glen was his usual self. Just get rid in the summer.

We were the best team over the two legs. Can't complain about that against the league leaders. We just need about £200m to get a few worldies and we'll be back

We just need two good attackers (striker + a goal scoring CAM) . That'd cost about 75m I suppose. Nothing more.

i felt sorry for the likes of hendo, sterling and can over the two legs they were very good. Skrtel was class tonight....the 3 man defense suits him down to the ground. Coutinho was incredible tonight.....class act and he is really fimding form..

Brendans one regret tonight will be bringing on balotelli....he offered **** all really. I think lallana woukd have been the right man there....

Sick of this ****. ****ing hate football sometimes. Chelsea are absolute cunts, the lot of them. Didn't deserve to go through in the end, didn't do enough for me in that match and our finishing is so bad. Our striker's are awful.

Who the **** are we going to get in that's reliable, works hard and actually knows where the goal is because right now, it seems no one is attainable and no one decent wants to sign for us.

Didn't create enough in the second half against a team that never once looked like scoring, other than from the free-kick where the useless Balotelli exposed Lucas.

Gerrard was terrible, a passenger in midfield. His retirement can't come soon enough. He's basically squatting in the team, denying someone else a game.

Chelsea looked very ordinary. If they're the best team in the league it's a poor league. We can be very optimistic about the future. I can't remember a game there where we've been under less pressure. One soft free-kick undid us, that's all. If we had a striker we'd have been OK
